Josephine Bonaparte: From Martinique to Malmaison premiered in 2004. Inspired by the trilogy, The Josephine Collection by Sandra Gulland, Napoleon’s wife, Josephine, comes alive through text, a gorgeous fabric set, original music, atmospheric lighting and dance. Los Angeles composer Moira Smiley composed the music, Beckah Voigt performs and Janet Park-Datema directed and designed this one-woman dance theatre piece.
