Overall, One River Mississippi involved 100 local artists. These live outdoor dance performances on the Mississippi River, the lifeline of the heartland, offer audience members an opportunity to experience the river on a variety of levels — emotional, intellectual, physical, visceral— making a connection to the environment and to each other. Along with the choreography and dances of ANNONYArts, Labyrinth Productions created a video of the event, Craft Alliance is conducting workshops to create visuals for the performance and Confluence Greenway is providing river-related educational programming.
