The second aspect of ANNONYArts’ mission is the educational programming, the exploration of subtle energies in the healing arts. (defined as ki, chi, prana, bioplasm, mana, life force…. are all comprised in "subtle energy".) Art is created from within the artist, from the personal, and then strives to reach a universal place, in order to share the artists’ experience with others/audiences. Researching, exploring this inner landscape of the artist, the subtle energies residing there, can provide richness both for the artist and for the audience. This interplay can create a depth of experience that is very healing for all involved. It is an area that is on the global cutting edge of training for artists. ANNONYArts feels the importance of exploring subtle energies in creating (art) and healing (communities, individuals) and is working to bring this knowledge to St. Louis. Subtle energy workshops provide an opportunity for participants to develop from the inside-out, allowing self-expression in a safe environment, enriching and deepening their connection to themselves and their community.
